Taking over the space on the second floor of Opus Building, Glam is run by a group of fresh graduates from Chulalongkorn University who like to get a little crazy with their shisha.

The clear shisha Pipes glow in the dark thanks to LED lights, while the inside is packed with ice and fresh fruit, with some choices mixed just like a cocktail, to top up the flavor. Prices start from B600.

Know as the original Indian chill-out, Bombay Blues is a vibrant red-and-yellow Indian themed bar, with luxurious interiors and a great place to bring a date or a crowd of friends for delicious food and after-dinner entertainment. The menu is extensive, from buttery paneer to some of the tastiest mutton Bangkok has to offer, and the waiter is happy to make recommendations should you want to try something other than chicken tikka massala. Bombay Blues is laid-back and good value; you’ll have no problem making a night of it.

Bangkok Bar Infinity, As well as live bands and a good list of local and international DJs playing indie pop/rock, dream pop and electro, this laid back bar on the top of Opus Building also has a decent everyday playlist. It’s decked out in a slightly industrial style, with bare cement and steel as well as long wooden tables and gentlemanly leather sofas. The spacious outdoor terrace is great for shisha.

Next door to Bangkok Bar Infinity, this indoor-and-outdoor Moroccan-themed drinking spot puts the focus on shisha.

The tables are specifically designed for smoking, but they serve Western-fusion and Indian food, too—all to a soundtrack of Bollywood and international dance tunes.
